Lace

in all its glory

Ah, lace! Seen by some as the height of the knitter's craft, lace can be complex and ethereal, a simple learning exercise or something in between. From a cobweb-weight shawl, to the edging on a scarf, lace is nothing more (or less) than knitting with (deliberate) holes in it. Patterning on every row elevates your project to the lofty category of Knitted Lace, while pattern rows alternating with plain rows results in Lacey Knitting. Whichever skill level you choose, the Muggles will be amazed!
